INSPIRATION
Nyamplung is a small container with one or more different sized pipes attached to a handle made of wood/bamboo. Canting is a traditional handtool that is used to apply molten wax to trace outlines of the patterns on the fabric to create beautiful batik designs. Nyamplung have give me the idea to develop a lounge chair base on its structure/shape.
CONCEPT . LITTLE HAVEN
Every mother have the desire to have a little getaway and want to have their private time. However, due to the pandemic mothers are stressed with pressure from both work and household responsibilities. A closed & comfortable private space in the midst of chaos could be the solution. Mothers may pamper themselves with a cozy egg-like rocking chair with a slight reclining ergonomic.
